Below we present a list of our cycling tour suggestions. The trails are not demanding and the places they lead to should meet your expectations.
TRIP TO MALTA LAKE
Route: Hotel ForZa*** – Lake Malta – Garbary – Hotel ForZa***
Length of route: approx. 17 km
Level of difficulty: easy
We recommend a cycling tour with a nice break for rest and relaxation at Lake Malta in Poznań. Practically the whole route runs along very well-prepared cycling paths and is rich in attractions, such as the “Maltanka”, one of the last narrow-gauge railways in the country. Sports enthusiasts will find numerous attractions offered by POSiR Malta Poznań (Sports and Recreation Center Malta Poznań) and lovers of the charms of nature will be able to delight their eyes and relax in the “Parka Tysiąclecia” (Millennium Park) near the route. There will also be a number of attractions for tourism enthusiasts – the route runs close to Poznań Śródka, Ostrow Tumski and the Citadel Park – which are one of the most popular destinations for tourists.
METEORITE TRIP
Route: Hotel ForZa*** – Warta – Morasko Meteorites – Hotel ForZa***
Length of route: approx. 19 km
Level of difficulty: medium
To the north of Hotel ForZa*** lie the Municipal Forests of Poznan, which can be reached by bike in a few minutes. We offer you a trip full of greenery and allowing you to relax in nature and at the same time visit a real forester’s lodge (a few minutes’ drive from the Hotel) and the Morasko Meteorite Nature Reserve. We highly recommend visiting the nearby forester’s lodge, where you will find a resting place and free-running farm animals – beware here – goats can be very friendly but we advise against feeding them, they do not want to unhitch afterwards :). Here, we also ask you to be careful because of the large number of wild boars running around – when fed, they don’t want to get unstuck probably more than goats ;). The road continues along Warta, through Radojewo to the Morasko Meteorite Nature Reserve. The way back leads along Huby Moraskie Street, where you will find, among other things, horse stables and… Adam Mickiewicz University campus. The road continues along comfortable routes directly to the Hotel ForZa***.
TRIP TO SOŁACZ PARK
Route: Hotel ForZa*** – Sołacki Park – Cytadela Park – Hotel ForZa***
Length of route: approx. 15 km
Level of difficulty: easy
The surroundings of the Hotel ForZa*** are rich in green areas and the Warta river runs close to the hotel. For lovers of quiet, relaxing bike rides, we offer a very pleasant route running past two of Poznań’s great parks: Sołacz Park and Citadel Park. Each of these parks offers kilometres of excellent cycling routes.
